okay, scheinbar geht es doch wieder, nur Webmin will des nicht als laufend anzeigen :p
kA woran es lag, auf jedenfall sag ich schonmal danke an alle die mir geholfen haben !!

lese ich da richtig ? WIN S C P ?...

xinetd & TLS bringen einige probleme mit sich ..
schliess diese erst mal aus.. dazu :

0- compile proftpd mit mod wrap ( wen du suse hast verwende meine rpms)

1- treib den proftpd ohne xinetd an( servertype standalone )

2- stimmen die TLS zerifikate ?  
    ohne kann proftpd kein SSL bzw sftp ..  

3 - DEBUG : proftpd -n -d 9
 .. da kommt sehr viel output, aber für aufmerksame leser sehr hilfreich.


WINSCP solte mit entsprechend eingestelten sshd sofort gehen ohne proftpd. Nachteilig ist das dort halt einige einstellmoeglichkeiten die der proftpd mit seinen modulen hat   , nicht bietet ( ratio, quota ...)
sshd läst sich ebenso per  /etc/hosts.allow steuern, für scriptkiddies solte es kein problem darstellen einen cronjob zu basteln der dynamsich auf der basis von dyndns.org die hosts.allow anpasst.


@stonki, @woersty : geht das überhaupt ...
( noch nie probiert )

Jup .. schon versucht...

Dieses suse10 macht mir grad aerger :
 die downloadbaren cd´s enthalten einige devel packete nicht - zb pam-devel, mysql-devel...

ich habe die Dateien von der Webseite einfach angehangen. Das ist aber eine
alte Version.
Das Programm wurde inzwischen von mir überarbeitet. Die neue Version besteht
aus Eingabe- und Ausgabe-plugins. Als Eingabe-plugins hab ich derzeit nur
dsl und status. Als Ausgabe eine einfache Netzwerk-Schnittstelle, eine
ICQ-Schnittstelle und eine Schnittstelle, um imonc nutzen zu können.

warum ?

Alles unter port 1024 braucht wutzel(root)  rechte für den port bind.

warum auf einer 6mb Flat ?
Weil massiver traffik  im 0,5-3TB/monat geld massiv kosten würde ....

Meine rpms laufen ,
sofern mensch die packetabhänigkeiten beachtet
( all modulles in one binary !!) out of the box.
Eine gewisse grundkonfig wird mit geliefert - aber ein Admin muss sich letztendlich selbst im klaren sein was er davon bracht.

Wem das nicht gefällt nimmt sich das SRPM ( rpm -i ..) ,
modifiziert das spec file  ( module auskomenieren durch entfernen  aus der MODULES="..."  zeile ) und baut mit rmbuild -ba <spec>
sein eigenes rpm.

..take it easy ..

Ich möchte gerne das Paket proftpd-1.2.10-1.fc1.i386.rpm unter SuSE 9.3 Professional instalieren; natürlich mit Hilfe von YaST2.

Leider kann ich es nicht instalieren, weil folgendes Paket benötigt wird:
libcrypto.so.4 und libssl.so.4.

Leider kann ich diese Pakete nirgendwo im Internet finden. Ich werde immer nur zur folgenden Seite geleitet: http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libssl.so.4&submit=Search+...

Es wird noch ein Paket benötigt: Perl(getopts.pl) Zu diesem Paket finde ich überhaupt nichts.

Könnte mir das bitte jemand erklären? Was soll ich nun machen??

Ich wäre über jedwede Hilfe Dankbar!!
