FRAGE: skipping 'mod_sql.c' sollte eigentlich nicht sein da ich nur User auf dem FTP haben will die in der SQL DB stehen.
           ich denke mal das auch wg. skipping das unclosed <IfModule> auftaucht... aber ich steh irgendwie am schlauch warum das ned. geht...

Verflix noch mal - ich brauch' ne Brille: ich find den Fehler nicht!
Jetzt habe ich sogar mittels regular expressions die "<IfModule"-Blöcke prüfen lassen: ok!

So: bitte entferne (oder kommentiere aus) jetzt wirklich einmal alle "<IfModule"-Blöcke -
nur den Kern der aktuellen Authentifikation und "DelayEngine off" läßt Du davon übrig.

Mal sehen, wo und ob dann noch ein Fehler angemeckert wird.

Nachtrag: wir mußten letztens feststellen, daß "SQLHomedirOnDemand" nicht mehr funktioniert.
Der neue Befehl dafür leider auch nicht, siehe ->hier

Hallo "LHW_Wiesel"!

Mir ist etwas eingefallen: dadurch, daß Du mit einem Mac arbeitest, kann das Problem des
"<IfModule..." daher rühren, daß ein anderes Zeichen für das Zeilenende benutzt wurde,
als unter Unix/Linux üblich.

Der "Scanner" in ProFTPD liest die proftpd.conf vermutlich zeilenweise, um das abschließende
"</IfModule>" zu finden und überspringt dann damit den ganzen Rest der Konfigurationsdatei.

Das würde das Phänomen erklären und es wäre toll, wenn man das herausbekommen könnte.
Würdest Du bitte einmal versuchen, Deine proftpd.conf mit den "<IfModule..."-Blöcken
und Linefeed (LF) als Zeilenende zu sichern und dann den ProFTPD laufen zu lassen.
