Hallo, ich habe schon viel in diesem Forum gesucht und gelesen und es kann sein, dass ich einfach etwas nicht gefunden habe aber ich weiss momentan echt nicht, wo mein Fehler liegt. Auch Google hat mir noch nicht wirklich weitergeholfen... ich sitze inzwischen circa 5 Tage an der Einrichtung eines ProFTPd mit MySQL-Authentifikation der möglichst auch noch mod_tls haben sollte, was jedoch vorerst gestrichen habe, da die MySQL-Authentifikation wichtiger ist.

Problem ist folgendes :
- Kompilierung funktioniert ohne Probleme
- Server findet beim Loginversuch den passenden Benutzer in der DB
- Server beendet mit 421 die Verbindung zum Client

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen... momentan fällt mir nicht mehr viel ein....

P.S.: Ich habe schon viele weitere Config´s getestet ... der Server läuft jedoch noch nicht einmal ohne mod_sql,mod_sql_mysql auf Basis der /etc/passwd ... denn dann kommt immer 530 Login Incorrect...

Hallo, ich habe das Problem mittlerweise anderweitig gelöst auch mit eurer Hilfe ohne dass ihr es wisst Smiley - hab mir ein Buch names "Dedizierte Webserver 2.Auflage" von Galilei-Computing gekauft ... (sehr empfehlenswert) der Autor dieses Buches bezieht seine Info´s und Tipps zu Proftpd auch von stonki soweit ich den Hinweis richtig gelesen habe Smiley

Zur Lösung des Problems brauchte es jedoch nur eine gültige UID und GID sprich eine gültige Gruppe und einen gültigen Benutzer unter dem der Server läuft...
Falls ich noch herausfinde was noch daran schuld war werde ich es hier posten, damit zumindest nicht jeder das Buch kaufen "muss" allerdings würd ich es ohne wenn und aber weiterempfehlen...

Übrigens was auch fehlte war das PAM-DEVEL-Paket ... das hatte ich allerdings hier im Forum durch lesen von Threads erfahren danke natürlich auch für diese Informationen... man sollte solche Informationen über Systemvoraussetzungen eventuell in die Dokumentationen auf ProFTPd.de einbauen...
