TransGaming listens
carefully to its customers and dedicates its resources

newest available titles. Cedega can run a huge library
of Windows-based games ranging from massive multiplayer

4) How
do games in the Games Database get their playability
rating?
TransGaming believes in the voice of the
Linux community. As such we have designed our games
database so subscribers can submit new game titles to
the database as well as rate a game's playability in
Cedega. All ratings in the games database are assigned
by our users and not TransGaming. We recommend trying
games with a playability rating of 3 or better.

5) What
are the minimum system requirements for
Cedega?
The operating system core requirements
are a Linux Kernel 2.4 or higher, XFree86 4.0 (4.3 is
recommended) or Xorg, and glibc 2.2 or higher. Since
each game will have its own hardware specifications, we
recommend for optimal gaming experience that you exceed
the recommended requirements to run the game.

6) Which
video card do you recommend using with
Cedega?
Cedega will run with both ATI and nVidia
video cards. We currently recommend the nVidia GeForce
class video card due to its superior Linux driver
support and the availability of Pixel Shaders on nVidia
FX class cards and above. Some users may experience
inconsistent performance and instability with the ATI
Radeon 8500 or better cards. Please refer to the release
notes for recommendations for game play.
