so, it seems we've ran into a bit of
a problem with our server. the problem seems to be with a specific folder
as well: tor/ (formerly adm/b/tor/). now, i cant seem to find any
information about this specific problem, so im asking here!
currently have 10707 torrents in one folder, and last night it started giving this error where it would not accept torrents. 1) the folder is chmodded to 777, so dont waste your time saying this. 2) the folder acts like we have reached our max in space - disallowing anything to be added. all other folders work flawlessly. 3) i can copy & move files into the "weird" folder just fine - no errors are reported whatsoever. 4) the folder is hardcoded (the absolute path, not just tor/). has anyone else experienced this issue? i have investigated it in many different ways, including phps temp folder for uploads (however, you can still upload files with no problem, just not into that ONE folder) - so it cant be that. all files are chmodded to 777 when theyre uploaded as well (once again, this has nothing to do with the issue). if you need any more details, i'll try to explain them to the best of my abilities - and thanks to anyone who can help me with this weird problem [edit>] i have made this "bug" appear on two servers: my own home server i do tests on, as well as a purchased commercial server. Maybe your host only allows so many
files in a folder.
