i included the ibitzy database with
the aknova.sql - 'un_processed' is the only table used by ibitzy - it
stores a quick index of the site when its about to crawl, the only other
table it uses is the 'torrents' table to insert the crawled files. your
adm/b/conf.php should contain the exact same db details from the root
config.php (same db, dbname, dbuser, dbhost). i havent used xampp myself, so i have no idea how the php module setup is - juiced could be right about a module missing. and as for any other ibitzy errors, i cant think of any besides using the cURL hack without cURL =\ if it still doesnt work, pm me a link to your website so i can actually see the error for myself. thanks coscast! the only thing that
sucks about it is that it cant grab the downloaded stat from some
trackers....and i have no idea why. i know that tpb has the 'downloaded'
amount in the scrape value, but it cant seem to pick it up. this applies
to nextorrent, prq, and a couple of trackers. all others seem to work
flawlessly though For me its not such a "heavy" problem as "i" mainly scrape german trackers and they are mostly "srapeable" except some AntiLeech Trackers which require Registration. For that i have to say that it makes no sense to make ANY Tracker not scrapable. Ok for bandwith "reasons", but i think that bandwith should any tracker able to take. I you think i write weird sentences, dont care, im german This post has been edited by coscast: Jun 2 2007, 09:51 PM -------------------- http://www.torrents-and-more.to |

i have to agree with you on the
scrapability of a tracker. i see it as a defication of bittorrent itself
when removing something as minute as the 'downloaded' amount i fail to see how an extra 22 bytes really applies to 'bandwidth', but then again, 22 bytes x 350 peers = a bit of bandwidth. i dont own the tracker and dont have much of a say in how that tracker operates, so i guess we just have to live with what we've got for now as they say: if it works, then it works! First off I want to congratulate you
on all your mods of t-xore. I just want to change a couple things because
I think its too crowded. I am also changing the theme because it is
terrible. Sorry your design skills are lacking zest and creativity. -------------------- |

think its too crowded. I am also changing the theme because it is
terrible. Sorry your design skills are lacking zest and creativity. I find it very disturbing that people have to make comments like this, considering the fact that almost all the other modifications to T-Xore all pretty much look the same your comment is off base and has no merit. I personally like most of the layout and there is creativity in it. Again, I will state this, there are far too many people making comments to either degrade another persons efforts to improve or build upon a specific program and comments such as these are not useful in anyway. Once again, everyone is entitled to their own opinons however if you don't have anything to either contribute to benefit the progress then don't bother making comments. Comments such as this serve no beneficial purpose what so ever. |

i appreciate comments from 15 year
old who does nothing but kills threads on filesoup. thanks
revolution...youre a pal. [edit>] why dont you try sharing your stylesheet? i really see the originality and zest in generic rastered images! in EITHER case, youre welcome for the source, and i hope to hear another useless comment that will yet again kill the thread on my next release This post has been edited by phrostwave: Jun 5 2007, 04:53 AM |

Well yet again I think people have
gotten me all wrong. I had no idea you would flip out on me for stating an
opinion about your style. The mods are brilliant, you definitely have more
talent than me when it comes to PHP. I will definitely admit that because
it is true! You have a brilliant site but I stated my opinion that I
wanted to change somethings in the coding so that it would be less crowded
and I want to change the design. I am sorry if I offended you. My bad. I
hope you don't take any of my further comments personally like this one. I
am 16 now and I hope to learn alot more by the time I reach your
age. My regards, Jake |

its no big deal, i just wish you
could have said 'well, i think your style needs some changing' and left it
at that, instead of blatantly saying i have NO talent, NO originality, and
a terrible sense of designing. i know you wouldnt be happy if someone shot
down your hard work....all because of a stylesheet that can be
easily changed, so i believe that its just wrong to make comments
like that. alls good though, i just hope to see people that can say their opinion without completely making an overkill statement This post has been edited by phrostwave: Jun 5 2007, 05:18 AM |

i saw that you were making a vista
theme a few pages back, so long as its for t-xore im
interested! [edit>] what i am wanting to do with my next release is try to integrate a stylesheet changing system. i almost released a test changer with this pack, but i decided not to because of the simple fact that i only have 1 sheet to go off of right now. and on the actual implementing issue, ive been trying ideas for the past couple of weeks now but im still yet to decide on the most efficient and easiest system. i already have a ton of javascript and ajax hooked up (just look at the headers...HA!), so im trying to steer away from that as much as possible - and that brings me to another point; GZIPPING! i'll yap about that later on though, seeing as the website doesnt require a TON of bandwidth to load.....yet....
