XBMC CVS Known Issues: -My Music * Issue: FastForward and Rewind doesn't always work as supposed Reason: mplayer doesn't support it natively - this is the best we can do at the moment Solution: - * Issue: 44.1 kHz WAV-DTS fails to play Reason: Passthrough does not work for these files because the Xbox only supports 48 kHz output natively Solution: Disable "DTS capable receiver" under "Settings/Audio Options", you will get upsampled 48 kHz output -My Videos * Issue: VOBSUBS don't always function properly Reason: Unknown bug Solution: No fix yet * Issue: Some DVDs cannot be played back using PlayDVD or Autostart Reason: First vobset doesn't contain the movie Solution: Start the .ifo file manually for the vobset that contains the movie * Issue: My AVI starts playing smoothly and then gets choppy Reason: Probably a badly interleaved avi file Solution: Enable "No Cache" in the video OSD, or re-save the avi with proper interleaving -General * Issue: (example) After playing a few trailers using AQT (Apple Quicktime Browser) XBMC crashes. Reason: Mplayer is cleaning up Python DLL's Solution: No fix yet * Issue: ALL SKINS WILL BE BROKEN AFTER 2-12-2004 DUE TO NEW SETTINGS SYSTEM. Reason: New settings system Solution: Use Project Mayhem from CVS until skins are updated. Versioning system will be added shortly. -DVD Player * Issue: Choppyness after switching from menu to video Reason: DVD Player's video subsystem isn't correctly being told when to return from discontinious mode to normal Solution: No solution yet * Issue: Highlighint in DVD Menu's is sometimes lost. Reason: Player is flushing SPU data at bad times.
